 Knoxville, Tennessee - October 1, 2001 - The Initial Group became the general agent, in the state of Tennessee, for the Foundation One Group Indemnity product. Foundation One, underwritten by American Fidelity, is designed to meet the needs of employers and their part-time (and in some cases, full-time) staff. Foundation One allows employers to offer coverage to their employees who otherwise may not be eligible for full time benefits or a group insurance plan. The Foundation One product offers physician, hospital and prescription coverage, along with vision and hearing. There are no deductibles, co-pays, or co-insurance and the plan is guarantee issued. Dental and life coverage is offered as an optional benefit. Small group employers (2-50 lives) can take advantage of Secure Choice, Foundation One's small group product. Secure Choice has two plan designs for employers to choose from. This product is simplified issue with only 4 health questions. Physician, hospital, and prescription drugs are covered under Secure Choice, along with vision and hearing. Optional dental benefits are availabe as well. So, whether you are a small or large employer, Foundation One can offer coverage to your employees at low cost or voluntary basis.
