 Knoxville, Tennessee - March 1, 2002 - The Initial Group has taken over management responsibilities of Ocoee Health Alliance Physician IPA has over 175 provider members representing 100+ physicians and 5 hospitals including Erlanger, Bradley Memorial, Cleveland Community and Athens Regional Medical Center. Core strategies of the management takeover include: Streamlining and reducing cost and time associated with credentialing for Ocoee members. Using group contract strategies to negotiate optimal reimbursement for all members. Aggressive marketing of the IPA to regional and national payors and direct contracting with local employers - END -
